A Classic Teddy Bear

Several of my close friends and family have had babies over the past year, giving me even more excuses to buy gorgeous cuddly toys! For one of the children I was determined to buy him a plain, simple, gorgeous teddy bear he could love for years. It was not as easy as I thought it’d be! So I am over the moon at this little fella’ from Gund. He’s everything a teddy should be.

My favourite thing is his name – Yorrick. For those of you who aren’t big geeks like me, Yorrick was Hamlet’s Jester when he was a baby; “A fellow of infinite / jest, of most excellent fancy.” A classic teddy named after a Shakespeare character – I love him, and little Ollie does too!
